General responsibilities of the position :
Area of Expertise:
-Provide technical support to the Quality function (Product Integrity and Quality Control);
-Testing and control of raw materials and finished product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations.

Level of Responsibility:
-Responsible for ensuring the metallurgical quality of PWC products;
-Contributes to the team and organizations objectives by applying his/her knowledge of one or more discipline areas;
-Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others.
Specific responsibilities of position :
-Perform, document and communicate metallurgical tests in accordance to PWC quality requirements;
-Provide metallurgical support to production processes;
-Verifying the compliance of multiple special process manufacturing technologies such as welding, coatings, heat treatment, etc;
-Validate incoming raw materials and finish parts;
- Participate and contribute to the promotion of the company's Pillars (EH&S, Ethics, Quality and International Trade Compliance).
 

Compétences

Qualifications required :
-College degree in metallurgy with minimum of 5 years' of experience in a similar position;
-Practical hands on experience of metallurgical lab work and equipment;
-Ability to efficiently communicate in French and English (both orally and in writing);
-Results oriented and comfortable with short deadlines;
-Strong attachment to respecting ethical norms;
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
-Comfortable working rotating shifts (3 weeks day shift and 1 week evening shift).
