Accountable for the on-going management and delivery of Air Canada’s and its regional operators’ uniform program to ensure employee and program compliance.

  • Accountable for Air Canada’s uniform program from a day to day operation of the program. As such, the incumbent is the main point of contact for all branches in relation to workgroups, allotments and distribution.
  • Working with the vendor, manages inventory levels to avoid potential back-orders and limit liability due to over stock. Makes decision on approving substitute products when required and ensure communication to employees
  • Leads the uniform requirements with the Training and Recruitment teams to ensure that uniforms and name tags are properly distributed to all new hires within the timelines provided by the various branches.
  • Audits the vendor’s website to ensure proper process are being communicated and are valid as well as provides recommendations to improve the user experience for employees.
  • Establish a system and subsequent processes for document retention and storage
  • Creates processes for 3rd party and consultant requirements; work with the legal team to ensure all legalities are addressed.
  • Manage requests coming from all branches with regards to updates to individual’s allotment or changes in the HR profiles.
  • Establishes and audits the process for distribution of new hire welcome box with name tags, lanyards, rondelle pins, etc.
  • Manages uniform allotments per work group and ensures that vendor IT systems appropriately reflect the Company’s requirements.
  • Manages the bi-weekly issue logs for both products and IT issues.
  • Manages all branches requests for information and inquiries.
  • Creates and implement returns and exchanges process for International and US employees.
  • Creates requirements for reports (month, quarterly and yearly) and ensures that the information is distributed to each branch. Highlights areas of concerns when required.



  • University level education 2 – 4 years related work experience
  • Experience managing vendors is an asset
  • Ability to influence and gain acceptance
  • Highly organized and structured
  • IT background and project management skills an asset
  • Ability to be assertive and manage conflict
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
