YOUR TASKS:

By creating products and services that make the most intelligent use of energy and materials, we partner with our suppliers and meet our customers’ demands for more energy-efficient, less emission–producing products with optimal safety, reliability, passenger comfort as well as cost efficiency. Not just once but throughout the complete product life-cycle.

The Requirements Management team are responsible for the definition, identification and clarification of requirements input documents from stakeholders and drive required versus product gap analysis in the bid, design and validation phases of a project. They also verify requirements developed at train and subsystem levels.

Bombardier Graduate Scheme is a 2-year programme aimed at bringing out the best out of the individual. You can expect to do placements across the various departments to gain a wider knowledge of the rail industry; including: Vehicle Architecture, Safety and Reliability, Service Engineering and Validation. On the job learning is complemented by a modular and personal development programme. Supported by a mentor you will work towards gaining relevant chartered status with one of the engineering bodies such as the IMechE or IET.

Qualifications

You will need a minimum 2:1 BEng or MEng, in an Engineering degree including Rail modules, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from courses with product integration and system engineering content. In addition, we seek applications from graduates with a BSc or MSc in Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Materials. Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills and a passion for making things happen.
