Air Canada is looking for an engaged, highly motivated and flexible individual to support the Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) team. The incumbent will be responsible for executing the commercial requirements, for the CS300 aircraft IFEC product introduction. This is a 1 year temporary assignment and will report into the Manager, Entertainment and Connectivity Solutions.

  • Assist Air Canada in the defining the commercial product requirements and drive it to execution
  • Manage the execution and delivery of software based on commercial specifications – working closely with all Air Canada’s 3rd party suppliers and Program management teams.
  • Act as the liaison between the IFEC suppliers and all Air Canada (commercial) 3rd party content service providers
  • Be the point of contact and commercial owner for technology integrations required for the IFECS based on requirements – eCommerce and Operations Application Protocol Interface (API)
  • Be the champion for agile testing at the supplier’s facility
  • Act as the point of contact for all business configurations for IFEC
    • Shopping, Pricing, Media, Connection Info, etc.
  • Be owner of the data and information flow between Air Canada and supplier – support existing architecture 
  • Manage the expectation and application of brand requirements with our supplier – ensure all licenses for Graphical User Interface (GUI) development are approved and issued
  • Manage and communicate any risk that would impact the commercial launch of the product (IFEC) to Manager and senior program team
  • Manage all commercial artefacts related to the IFEC CS300 product
  • Additional duties as designated by manager


  • Bachelors degree in Business Technology, Marketing, Engineering or other applicable degree from a recognized University
  • Airline experience preferred
  • Product development experience
  • Experience completing and presenting marketing research
  • SQL (Microsoft) experience
  • Understanding of SDLC
  • Experience in Agile software development
  • Project management experience an asset
  • Media management experience an asset
  • Understanding of corporate financial analysis an asset
  • Ability to travel Mandatory (U.S., Europe)
