Division info:

The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of Month End close as well as monthly and quarterly financial reports, memos, checklists and the preparation of General Ledger Account Reconciliations • Maintain, monitor and implement financial controls and procedures to satisfy Bill 198 (52-109); • Provide financial insight to all management & support all functional areas; • Liaison for completion of annual financial audit, annual Bill 198 (52-109) audit, and completion of annual 401-K audit; • Lead annual physical and support materials manager with semi-annual physical; • Responsible for maintaining all accounting records and proper archival of such records; • Communicate with Corporate office on financial data and business activities as required; • Other analysis and projects as required; • Lead and develop its team to make it fully united and efficient; • Promote the values of the company: Respect-Responsibility-Resilience-Recognition; • Work closely with the other departments.

Qualifications:

• The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and hold a CPA designation • Minimum 5 years (post designation) working experience either in an accounting firm or industry • Strong analytical skills • Detail-oriented individual who possesses a high level of integrity • Ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit • Advanced PC skills in MS Excel and MS Word and ERP software • Practical experience with automated accounting systems • A “team player” mentality with a flexible and collaborative approach to completing tasks • Organized and strong multi-tasking skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Confident and possesses a personable, professional presence • Strong management and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in developing relationships • Enthusiastic, hardworking and has demonstrated initiative and motivation in taking charge of their responsibilities • Problem solver with sound judgment, who takes initiative, accepts ownership and accountability • Ability to set clear and deliverable goals and follow through on them • Ability to prioritize and manage competing deliverables based on urgency and importance
