About the Role:

The Global Services Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring worldwide flawless implementation, utilization and governance of all global strategic initiatives aligned to our strategic objectives, global transformation, standardization and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage, drive and govern within the Region all initiatives under the responsibility of Global Services designed to ensure and deliver a standardized systematic approach to executing and managing Services around the globe.

· Working collaboratively with the Region Head ensure operational excellence and global standardization.

· In doing so facilitate organic growth, revenue generation and new business opportunities.

· Engage/collaborate with Regions, Portfolio, Ecosystem Leads in regard to the implementation, measuring, utilization, managing, driving and governance of strategic initiatives under the responsibility of Global Services. Providing support when necessary from within the Global Services community.

· Ensure that correct networks are established to identify support rapid resolution of any execution issues.

· Promotes and exchanges best practices where they will add value to the Region, Portfolio or Project.

· Ensure effective and sufficient levels of governance are put in place and administered to ensure the flawless delivery of of the strategic initiatives and the systematic approach to executing Services.

· Support projects in resolving execution issues within the right escalation process

· Observe the competencies, proficiencies and skills of the Project Managers to access their effectiveness in driving the business and upskilling their own teams. Optimum project performance, upselling, employee engagement, leadership, variation order recognition and overall accountability are essential.

· Drive the development, establishment and sustainment of a project management approach, capability and culture to increase execution effectiveness.Drive deployment and implementation of common standardized processes, tools and techniques in order to positively impact the project performance and deliver of the strategic initiatives of Services globally.

· Within the Global Services team support the development of new processes, procedures, processes and initiatives.

· Support the various functions with Global Services and the PMO team in building / defining the right approach to managing more effectively.

Support the Regions as necessary in recognising / delivering / identifying growth opportunities.

· Minimum 10 years of experience post graduate.

· 6 years of leadership experience either in Project Management, Contracts & Legal, Engineering or Operations

· Proven leadership performance.

· Has run several projects of strategic importance.

Proven ability to drive projects to a high level of success and performance.

· Must process a thorough knowledge and understanding of Services product lines, FM/ALM/CRO/Materials Management/Technologies/Bids/etc.

· Must be comfortable challenging, setting expectation, holding people accountable, defining due dates, etc.
