In your role, you will:

- Lead Bombardier Aerostructures and Engineering Services (BAES) Organizational Learning Core Team of Learning professionals (Project Specialists, Learning Business Partners and Training Coordinators)
- Provide functional leadership on training across Bombardier Aerospace (BA) by leading the Organizational Learning Council by providing expertise on training management and best practices
- Ensure global compliance of BA to all regulations regarding competencies, certifications and training requirements (FAA, Transport Canada, HSE, BA Engineering, etc.)
- Maintain Organizational Learning standardized practices supporting BA regulation compliance: Performance-Based-Learning-System, QAPI 3.18.25 and QAD 3.18.25. Offer training and coaching to support deployment
- Lead the design and deployment of BA standardized technical training courses for technical training, certifications, Health & Safety and Quality functions
- Manage delivery of centralized and/or specialized training services (i.e. technical training fast track, technical incubators, upskilling, technical skills evaluation, regulatory compliance training and training on skills related to BA engineering specifications, Obtain/manage training grants and manage centralized training coordination services)
- Manage client satisfaction, Identify and resolve issues related to service delivery when required
- Provide technology transfers, train-the-trainer, program licensing, training audit, technical trainer qualification, technical school and provider certification services,
- Analyze training requests and human performance issues, proceed to need analysis and identify appropriate learning solutions often in tight timelines and in all Bombardier locations
- Meet BA Leaders, Site OL management and other internal/external clients to understand competency related issues, proceed to organizational diagnosis and develop recommendations
- Prepare business cases, cost/benefit analysis and develop potential solutions, scenarios. Prepare Learning strategy and project plans to Leadership teams and management for approval. Prepare service offer, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and training contracts accordingly
- Manage Organization Learning Central Team profit center, budget, develop KPIs and manage own team balance sheet (expenses vs revenues)
- Lead governance with Site Learning Leaders to monitor OL standards and offer coaching and training when necessary.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a University degree (ideally master, but non-exclusive) in learning, organizational development or related fields (Adult education, HR, project management, management, engineering)
- You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience linked to manufacturing and learning management
- You have the ability to manage a team of Learning professionals
- You have the ability to influence the management team
- You can manage various projects and mandates, collaborate and work in a team
- You are motivated by results and are recognized for your ease with multitasking
- You are bilingual (French & English) and Spanish is an asset
