Based in La Pocatière, Quebec, you will teach BOS and CI principles and tools to site employees in order to enable them to carry out CI iniciatives areas, encourage site functions to use CI tools and methods in their daily work and support functional improvement iniciatives and suggestion schemes with CI experience and the right methods and tools. You will act as a change agent to ensure employees experience CI methods and tools as part of their daily work, ensure that Improvement plans are up-to-date, PDCA is constantly applied and visualized and CI targets like BP sharing, suggestions submitted and Kaizen workshops are met.

In your role you will:

- Support and lead Site and Individual Cells in the process of achieving BOS World Class levels;
- Plan and coordinate BOS and Cell assessments and ensure sustainment of progress and performance of cells;
- Support cell teams in assessment preparations;
- Train improvement agents and site’s personnel on continuous improvement tools and their application on the top floor and offices;
- Act as a coach with agents in order to ensure know-how sharing and transfer;
- Be responsible for the plan personnel’s development in BOS training and tools, such as Awareness Day, 5S, elimination of waste and problem solving;
- Identify non-value added processes and critical process improvement opportunities so that they may be targeted for development and/or improvement through the BOS methodology;
- Support improvement projects and action plans definition and execution, along with management, in order to meet targets;
- Manage and coordinate special high complexity iniciatives execution in order to improve site’s operational performance and projects execution;
- Support the department in process management activities by identifying critical strategic process improvement areas in the business units that will be required to meet its strategic objectives;
- Partner with various departments and teams on critical, complex and/or strategic improvement projects;
- Support the problem solving process and deduct strategic improvement actions from recurring problems.


As our ideal candidate:

- You have minimum two (2) years of experience in a relevant role;
- You have knowledge of project and process management, BOS, SMB, Value Stream mapping, Six Sigma, Kaizen moderation, KPI’s and all other relevant CI tools;
- You possess comprehension of relevant IT-systems, Project Management, Innovation Management Finance;
- You have understanding of continuous improvement as well as education and change management experience;
- You have excellent English and French communication skills, both written and spoken.
