About the Job

We are looking for Quality Inspectors to join our team!

People will work for a world-class, integrated manufacturer and solutions provider part of the international commercial and military aerospace sectors.

Main missions
Responsibilities:

Perform inspection of precision parts and assemblies to customer drawings and specifications (using tools such as calipers, height gauges, plug gauges, CMM’s, micrometers)

Generate First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102

Generate Customer Required documents such as C of C’s for product

Perform data collection and generation of non-conformance reports

Document/discuss unacceptable or inferior quality materials with internal and external stakeholders and take corrective action

Perform internal auditing of control plans and process conformance

Participate in Kaizen events & 5S initiatives

Perform any other duties as assigned

 

Prerequisites -Profile
Education: 

-       High School Diploma (HSD) required

-       Bachelor Degree in mechanical engineering is an asset
 

Experience 

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position i.e.:
      - Inbound Inspection

- Quality Inspection

- Aerospace Manufacturing parts Inspection

 

Skills 

Blueprint reading skills including strong understanding of Geometric Dimension & Tolerance

Experience operating CMM an asset

PCDMIS experience an asset

Experience using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments (i.e. micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)

English reading, writing and communication skills
